Santiago was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to London, aged 21, to pursue a career in filmmaking. After University, he worked as pretty much everything within a film set, but it wasn't long before he started directing.
His projects have taken him around the globe, to places such as China, Kenya, Patagonia, USA and pretty much every country in Europe. He has worked for brands such as Sony, Red Bull, Intel, Ford and Nike.
Santiago prides himself in being a modern filmmaker, who can shoot and edit a wide variety of formats and subject matters.
Santiago likes Woody Allen's films as much as Hitchcock's, but not so much Michael Bay's. Those are quite loud. He loves skinny dipping in lakes (although he's never tried it), hates the word hate and dislikes fake tans.
