Biography

Jamie Childs studied film at the London College of Music and Media, and it was during his time as a student that he set up a small production company, through which he won his first commercial TV campaign at the age of just 20. He has since directed countless promos, adverts and documentaries, and went on to secure large contracts this year for the likes of Pernod Ricard and Carlsberg's Tuborg Lager, which picked up Silver at the 2011 Promax Awards.

Jamie epitomises the modern, multi-talendted filmmaker, working as a writer, director, editor, designer, art director and in many cases cinematographer, enabling him to consistently exact his vision from start to finish. His work has earned plenty of attention for its dynamic aesthetic and its ability to capture the visual zeitgeist. 2012 promises to be a big year for this exciting young director.
